Elementary Guide

Mr. Pete re-joined our elementary team in 2025 to help with the growth of our elementary program. He received his AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Elementary diploma in Dublin, Ireland in 2014. His background includes a Masters of English at Florida Atlantic University and Bachelor of Arts degree from New Mexico State University. Other teaching experiences include 5 years of working in Georgia at the Montessori School of Emory as an Upper Elementary lead teacher and six years of teaching at Little Flower Montessori School. Mr. Pete is Montessori-educated himself as he spent 10 years (age 2 – 12) as a Montessori child in the Philadelphia area. Mr. Pete has recently returned from a year of working with the Peace Corps in rural Samoa and has also worked with a non-profit organization in Bolivia to help expand their health and education programs. He looks forward to spending time with the children working on community outreach projects as well as the ‘going out’ program.

Mr. Pete’s interests include volunteering, reading, playing tennis and cheering on his Philadelphia sports teams.
